Over 1500 students studying in the final year of their Diploma / Degree Engineering at Parul Campus displayed over 150 IDPs / UDPs (Industry Defined Projects / User Defined Projects) which they built as a part of their curriculum for fulfilment of their course requirement. Projects were from the field of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Automobile Engineering and Architectural Assistantship. TechExpo 2015 had over 15,000 visitors over the course of two days (17th & 18th April 2015), which included parents, school children, engineering students from across the city, and industry personnel. The 2017 Art of Problem Solving exhibition explored the world of engineering through student projects.
The Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition, celebrated its 40th Anniversary, from the 19th – 22nd October and was a great success with an increase in visitor numbers. Well over 1000 models were on display across the 34 club and society stands and in the competition and display classes. Modellers were also able to stock up on supplies from the 52 specialist suppliers who were at the exhibition. The lectures on a wide range of topics by knowledgeable experts were well attended by visitors and there were also some interesting workshop demonstrations. Inside the packed exhibition halls, special displays celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Midlands Meccano Guild.
